Alex Wiley - Sexual Dolphin (100th Post)

Looking at Alex Wiley you wouldn’t think that he is a rapper or let alone an extremely talented one. Hailing from Chicago, which is arguably the city with the most extremely concentrated pool of talented rappers in the country, if not the world. There are so many different up and coming emcee’s its hard to keep track of them all. Alex Wiley, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Saba, are all parts of a large handful of talent.

Every artist is looking for that niche that sets them apart from every other rapper in the industry. No rapper who sees an artist in themselves goes out and copy’s Mac Millers flow and everything about their style, because they know their can only be on Mac. Well, Alex Wiley has taken this ideology to a whole new level. With a very unusual style the young up and coming emcee is able to create interesting soundscapes and experiences that are hard to find from almost any other rapper out there.

As for Alex’s new single Sexual Dolphin, there is nothing that I did not like about it. With a crunchy New School feel mixed with an Island Reggae sound it makes for a very interesting song. This is by far one of his most creative projects to date. It is right up there with 3 of my other personal favorites of Alex’s which are Ideas, Vibrations, and Yung San Diego. The lyrical content is also something that is really something to take not of when listening to Alex Wiley Because he really does an excellent job in creating music that has content, not just an artist who drops music with catchy lyrics. Alex really puts pride into his work and the messages that he portray’s are evidence of that. I highly recommend that you check him out as he is definitely an artist that is influencing Hip Hop in a way we have not seen yet, and challenging other artists to push their creative limits.

The N.U.M.B Team we would like to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to expanding your music library, one dope artist at a time. Thanks for all the help we couldn’t do it without you.
