Uno Hype - We Were Kings Feat. Hassani Kwess (Official Music Video)

I recently came across Uno Hype, and fell in love with his music. With old school beats and a new school style he is definitely an artist to watch. I get lost in his music sometimes and need to play a song 8 or 9 times just to really understand it. His words flow effortlessly and his message and movement is positive which is what the industry needs rather than Cash, Money, and Women.

Rittz - White Rapper - Official Music Video

Lately Rittz, one of the hottest names in Hip Hop to come out of Atlanta, has dropped a ton of gorgeous visuals. His new single, White Rapper, shows clips of a young Rittz rapping on video before he had his trademark long red hair. This song is filled with so much raw emotion which makes it inspiring and just goes to show you if you follow your dreams you can achieve anything regardless of your race, or other barriers that you may face while chasing your dreams.

Jack Kennedy - Shades of Morality

Former University Of Michigan Quarterback, Jack Kennedy, has a unique style that mixes elements similar to Macklemore, with a new and unconventional style that grabs the listener. The song is about the race barrier in hip hop and how someone who raps about the truth and life experiences does not receive the same exposure as rappers who make simple raps about money, cars, and women.
Lastly Video Vision 360 killed it with the visuals and is by far one of the most creative and well put together visuals I have seen yet.

Hi-Rez - White Tiger (Prod. Hippie Sabotage)

Hi-Rez, is one of the most underrated names in the industry, and White Tiger showcases his true ability to tear apart tracks. The production done by Hippie Sabotage is on point, and this combination of two great talents really makes for an excellent product.

White Tiger flows really well and is just another example of why Hi-Rez is one of the most talented white rappers in the game. Overall the track is super smooth and the execution of his bars are on point. It is a song that is definitely going to be in my iPod.

Nick Gallo - Free Reign (Mixtape)

Plymouth State Sophomore Nick Gallo, released his Free Reign Mixtape today. With a new school style Gallo has created soundscapes with his bars and creates a euphoric experience. This tape is a huge improvement from his previous tape and really shows that Gallo has the elements that every young emcee needs to become successful.

On this tape Bottoms Up and Ron Burgundy are personally my favorites. Bottoms Up has a new school trap feel to it, and is a perfect song to bust when partying. Secondly Ron Burgundy which uses the instrumental of Riff Raff’s TiP TOW WiNGiN MY JAWWDiNZ, Is a hit, the chorus is catchy and the, the verses are written really well and just flow really well.

Rittz - Turn Down - Official Music Video

The Atlanta Hip Hop scene is popping with new and up coming rappers, like Rittz. He’s not your typical rapper to come out of Atlanta, he’s no Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, or K Camp. Rather he is one of the realest and spits some of the hardest bars in the game. He is by far one of the fastest white rappers out there. Lastly his music is addicting he talks about everything that you wouldn’t from a southern rapper, he doesn’t focus on money, and women rather the reality of life, the struggles with addiction, and many other real and relatable topics.

Dreams Ft Kev Briggz ( Prod By Skuba Beatz )

Dre Vader has done it again, he has created another hot single. I think it is more catchy than Ciroc which was Dre’s previous single which hit 9,000 plays in the first month. This beat features another norwalk rapper Kev Briggz, who is extremely talented and has many connections in the music industry. So working with him was a smart move for Dre. I gotta say though Dreams is so much more relatable than his previous single. Its just a dope track and the production behind the beat is great and extremely well thought out.

This tape is one of the most solid tapes I have honestly listened to this year, definitely up there with Neon Icon (Riff Raff), The Checkup (Chris Webby), The Comfortzone (Saba), and Wizzy (Sammy Adams), yes its that good. With features from Emilo Rojas, and Dubi, and more talented artists this tape is packed with lyrical heat. Blackman103 really goes in on every track from the intro to the outro and solidifies his seat as one of Connecticut's most talented underground rappers. This is definitely one mixtape that you need to download.
