Iggy Azalea - Bounce (Dextasy Remix)

Dextasty an up and coming House/Trap producer from Greenwich Connecticut, Recently dropped a really creative and hard hitting remix of Iggy Azalea's single Bounce. With a hard hitting brass lead accompanied by some interesting arp's the build up to the drop is quite unique. The drop includes a very crunchy and heavily processed synth lead which is indicative of this style. Overall its a very well done remix that should satisfy any serious trap enthusiasts taste.

B Whitey - Buddha Ft. Jimmy BAD (Tyga Hookah Remix)

I’ve been a big fan of Jimmy Bad for quite some time now. Although he is a trap artist he is far from the  stereotypical trap artist we all know of. With a unique flow and style Jimmy not only has the talent but the look that will set him apart from every rapper in his genre. When he told me that he was working on this remix I was thrilled and couldn’t wait. As usual Jimmy kills his remixes and always gets excellent artists to feature on all of his songs. This is another solid song from Jimmy Bad and I cant wait to hear more from this talented young man.

As for B Whitey I haven’t heard a lot from him but he definitely has the qualities that you would like to see in a young emcee like himself. He clearly has a lot of talent and I’m interested to see what he exactly does with it.

Gerran Breeze - Mess Around

Gerran Breeze, a southern Californian rapper, is currently in is currently a high school senior. Breeze’s single Mess Around is a self produced track that has an easy flow and just brings me back to the 90’s. For an artist who is fairly new to rapping and producing (only 18 months) he has established a nice base for himself and I can definitely see him doing well as an artist. This kids got something unique, and I encourage you to check him out.

Alex Wiley - Sexual Dolphin (100th Post)

Looking at Alex Wiley you wouldn’t think that he is a rapper or let alone an extremely talented one. Hailing from Chicago, which is arguably the city with the most extremely concentrated pool of talented rappers in the country, if not the world. There are so many different up and coming emcee’s its hard to keep track of them all. Alex Wiley, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Saba, are all parts of a large handful of talent.

Every artist is looking for that niche that sets them apart from every other rapper in the industry. No rapper who sees an artist in themselves goes out and copy’s Mac Millers flow and everything about their style, because they know their can only be on Mac. Well, Alex Wiley has taken this ideology to a whole new level. With a very unusual style the young up and coming emcee is able to create interesting soundscapes and experiences that are hard to find from almost any other rapper out there.

As for Alex’s new single Sexual Dolphin, there is nothing that I did not like about it. With a crunchy New School feel mixed with an Island Reggae sound it makes for a very interesting song. This is by far one of his most creative projects to date. It is right up there with 3 of my other personal favorites of Alex’s which are Ideas, Vibrations, and Yung San Diego. The lyrical content is also something that is really something to take not of when listening to Alex Wiley Because he really does an excellent job in creating music that has content, not just an artist who drops music with catchy lyrics. Alex really puts pride into his work and the messages that he portray’s are evidence of that. I highly recommend that you check him out as he is definitely an artist that is influencing Hip Hop in a way we have not seen yet, and challenging other artists to push their creative limits.

The N.U.M.B Team we would like to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to expanding your music library, one dope artist at a time. Thanks for all the help we couldn’t do it without you.

TrapSprite

Wolcott based Trap producer TrapSprite is just nasty. With trap sets that will that will blow your mind he is a very underrated talent. Everything about TrapSprite I easily vibe to from using samples from 15+ years ago to his heavy and complex drops it creates for a really amazing sound. You can catch Trap Sprite doing underground raves, preforming at clubs and bars, or spinning back to back with his boy DJ ZiP. TrapSprite is definitely someone to watch in the near future.

K.A.A.N. - Kaancepts

Up and Coming rapper K.A.A.N who hails from Maryland, is an unknown talent. With a smooth Kendrick Lamar type flow he is able to create soundscapes over old school instrumentals. Personally I’ve never heard someone who is able to rap this fast and isn’t just spitting a bunch of gibberish his music has a message. I’m really happy I stumbled upon his soundcloud and hope that this up and coming talent gets the exposure and plays he deserves.

Scottie French - AiR (Official Music Video)

Up and coming Norwalk Emcee, Scottie French has been making quite the buzz lately. With his recent joining of the urban collaborative group Koma Scotties music has been exposed to many new ears. With projects coming in the near future from Scottie and Jimmy Bad he is only going to gain a stronger buzz and is definitely an artist to watch in the near future.

As for the song AiR I can't say anything negative about it. With crystal clear visuals from Deegan Reeves and a dope beat supplied by MNDSGN the video and song work together very well. He is by far one of the most talented rappers I have heard from the Norwalk area and I look forward to hearing from him in the near future.

Tarik - Here To Stay (Mixtape) + New Music Video

New York Emcee, Tarik, released his mixtape Here To Stay at noon today. The fluency of his music is unreal and is by far one of the hottest underground mixtapes I have heard this year. The multitude of styles really creates for a well rounded mix of music that both keeps it interesting but also keeps the listener wanting more. I gotta say I love this tape Tarik keep up the good work!

The song Choices is by far one of the most emotional songs I've heard in my life. With an extremely realistic plot, rapper Tarik shows how ones choices in life effect how others respond hardships and how love effects everyone differently at their highs and lows. In this music video Tarik shows how one individual tries to cope with his significant others cheating until it is to unbearable and he decides to take his own life. The song combined with the video executed perfectly by Hunter Lyon turned it into a beautiful and seamless visual which really captures the viewers attention and portrays the message Tarik is getting at.

Yo Gotti - Errrbody

The Southern rapper, Yo Gotti released the single Errrbody mid August of 2014. However it hasn’t gained traction until recently. It is by far some of his best work to date and the content of the lyrics are eye opening. Yo Gotti reveals the truth of the industry and how everybody thinks that they are the next big thing and are the next up when they really aren’t. This also exposes the common issues in music and pop culture because of its influences on young people and how it misleads them. This moving and really well put together track this is definitely something I want hear on the radio more often.

Latrell James Ft Real P - 5 And A Half

The Boston Hip Hop scene is popping with new up and coming rappers, like Latrell James, and Real P.
The two lyrical talented rappers rap about the true beauty that women possess and how you don’t have to look far to find someone truly beautiful. By describing the little things that make women beautiful and how the industry changes the ideologies of what a truly beautiful human being is. Marco Marcel the producer of this track did an excellent job in exciting an organic and smooth flowing beat. The organic and realistic vibe that I get from this track is absolutely unreal I just get lost in the music.

Justin Stone - Summer In The City

Ohio Rapper, Justin Stone, dropped his new single Summer In The City last night. The single is spit over a classic boom bap style beat. Justin really kills it and speaks about his climb to success and how hes blowing up right in front of his own eyes. Overall the song is really easy to vibe to and highly recommend anyone who likes artists similar to Logic, Sammy Adams, or Cam Meekins, to take a minute and listen to this track.
