The up extraordinarily talented and in house producer for Private Stock, IKON recently released his compilation mixtape entitled Private Stock. For those of you don't know Private Stock is a professional grade studio in Chicago but doubles a means for connecting artists in the area who typically would never cross paths. With a track list containing a plethora of talent including names such as Saba, Astonish, Goonie J, Lungz, ect. You know that this tape is packed with talent, and a proper representation of the famous Chicago sound. Below I have included the video summarizing as to what IKON and his counterparts aimed to accomplish during this project.
As for the sound behind this tape, the innate talent that IKON posses is simply too raw. The rich industry sound of the instrumentals in which he creates mixed with unique samples, synths, and soundscapes creates for a an astonishing final product. Overall the project is dope as hell and IKON and all the artists featured on this track did an excellent job on this tape making it a truly exquisite work of art and sound.
